Storage huts

Currently there are four wooden huts in varying degree of disintegration. All need to be demolished. On Monday week we are meeting to decide what to do about demolition and provision of replacements. We know of scouts, guides, Summer- and Christmas- Fayres – and possibly some others who do need good dry and hygienic storage for their equipment. We can only decide how to provide this when you tell us your needs. Storage is always at a premium. We will certainly not think of building more than is strictly necessary. So please tell us now.

Pastoral letter

Today Bishop Alan speaks to us in his Pastoral letter. With all the bishops of England and Wales he has just come back from their quinquennial meeting with the Pope. So he brings the Pope’s personal message to us, the church in England.

Sadly we need to talk about it. In two weeks’ time the Parish Finance Committee will speak at all masses to bring you up to date on our financial position. Connected with this: you will be glad to know we are actively engaged in improving the church heating and hope for better temperatures through the winter.
