Our camera is connected to the internet and our website. Technical restrictions make it impractical to keep turning the streaming on and off, so streaming will now be permanently on, and normally focussed on the sanctuary. This means any activity in that area will be viewable on-line. We will also record specific services for later viewing as before.

Can be a sombre month. Nature dies back in preparation for winter. The shortened days remind us of our own mortality. For all too many in St Thomas this year brings a special cloud. For a loved one has gone to God during covid and the usual expressions of sympathy and service of prayer have had to be curtailed for safety, and due process of grieving is hampered.
Our response is to turn still more to God and prayer. Each day one mass will be offered for your loved ones living now with Him. Please give us the list of those for whom you wish to pray. The names will lie before the altar at each mass through the month. St Paul reminds us that we are not like other people who have no hope of eternal life. Still the church was well used through the 18 hours. First thanks must go to the stewards/cleaners who were there as always when the church is open, keeping us all safe. I thank the organisers: Paul, Bernadette and especially the office staff; Clare for the flowers and Cathy for the beautiful prayer board. Now that the camera is constantly active your opportunity for a virtual visit to the church and participation at mass is greatly increased. It means that all the masses celebrated in the church are transmitted live though not recorded. Mass is at 7 pm on Monday, 10 am on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, as well as the weekend masses at 6pm Saturday and 9 and 11 on Sunday.
