Increasingly we see unsupervised children playing with the votive candles in church. It means we will have to do away with them. Recently several have spoken to me with alarm, which I share. 

This Holy day is celebrated 40 days after Easter. Masses will take place at St Thomas’ at 7.30pm on Wednesday evening: at 10am and 8pm on Thursday, and 10am at Chigwell Convent on Thursday. 

The Friars are happy to provide references, but before you give names as a referee please contact them through the parish office to discuss the position you are applying for and the nature of the reference required.
