Nine of our parishioners represented St. Thomas’ at The Delegates’ Assembly last Thursday at the Muslim Centre in Whitechapel.250 people of all races, religions, ages, sexes and schools joined together to recognise our achievements (among which were the Living Wage, safety for some Refugees and Housing (including CLTs). Also to follow up the promise of 100 CLTs on The Olympic Park and renew our promise to work together for The Common Good. We marked the beginning of our new campaign on Health and energy. Bernadette, Claire and Gloria took active roles. If there are any parishioners who would like to join us on the Committee we would welcome you with open arms. We welcomed two new members who joined us for the Assembly. “That we all may be one…” Is what comes to mind when we come together to “fight” for just causes.
