Synod on Youth

The Synod ended last Sunday. Only gradually will we discover its impact. But our Parish Council met last Monday – ostensibly to decide about storage space for parish activities. The talk turned to provision of facilities for our young people. Leaders of Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers make an excellent provision for some of the age range. Beyond that yawns a gap that needs to be filled – but with what? There was thought of building. That is useless there is vision, leadership, planning coordination of purpose. The burning question is: What do young people want? So please dear readers: If you are young tell us what you want us to provide for you.
