Mass for Queen Elizabeth

We offer the Mass at 11.30am on 18th September for her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. It is our parish acknowledgement of her long service to our country and to the common good of our troubled world. It also speaks our heartfelt affection and admiration for her.

At the same time we pray for King Charles. St Paul told us to pray for civil authorities. The Vatican Council stretched our vision to the need of prayers reaching way beyond our personal and Catholic concerns. To our prayers we must also add our practical service and collaboration with all ventures furthering peace and justice.
