National Youth Sunday

Dear Father, Dear Headteacher, Dear School Chaplain, Dear Catechist, Dear Steward of the Gospel, Dear Parish Secretary, Dear Cathedral House Colleague,

I hope that you are safe and well.

Our longer video for National Youth Sunday is now on YouTube; if you possibly can, take 7 minutes out of your day, and enjoy watching it. The voices of young people from across the Diocese tell us: "I found confidence to share my faith" ... "The best experiences in my life" ... "Friendship" ... "Service" ... "Able to talk about God with people like me" ... "The BCYS is like a second family" ... "Keeping people together, even when we are apart" ...

It is positive, reflective and offers a vision of a young Church which will be even more precious after the pandemic. We hope that you enjoy it!

The direct link is: and you will also find it on the front page of our website:

The whole series of shorter (2 minute) videos, featuring even more young voices, is at:

Please do share the videos in any possible way – via your school or parish social media, or via a parish Livestream on Sunday; there would normally be a young person speaking at Masses, so we hope this is at least a partial substitute for that.

The donations element is also important for us – if there are ways you can encourage people to support us then everything they need is on the website

As ever, your feedback and ideas are greatly welcomed.

Thank you for your encouragement and support.

With many blessings

Fr Dominic and the whole Walsingham House and BCYS volunteer and staff team
