About Trinity

Trinity Catholic High School in Woodford Green is a large Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form, serving students aged 11–18 across two sites. With around 1,600–1,700 students and more than 200 staff, it is one of the bigger schools in the area. The school is part of the Diocese of Brentwood and strongly rooted in its Catholic ethos, with daily Mass and pastoral care central to its values.

Headteachers Message:

It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher of Trinity Catholic High School during this special year in our journey. Trinity is a school with a proud history and a bold vision for the future. As educators, we are in a privileged position to help shape the lives of young people, guiding them to discover their gifts, deepen their faith, and prepare for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Each child entrusted to us has just one opportunity to fulfil their God-given potential, and we take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness, working tirelessly to provide the very best environment for them to grow and flourish.

At the heart of our success is our dedicated and passionate staff team. Their commitment to our students is exceptional as they go above and beyond to inspire, challenge, and support every individual. Through their expertise, creativity, and care, we create an environment where students achieve academic success and also grow in confidence, character, and faith.

We also recognise the invaluable role of our parents and carers. Our partnership with families is one of Trinity’s greatest strengths, and we are grateful for their trust, encouragement, and support. Working together, we ensure that every student has the best possible foundation for success, both within school and beyond.

Our promise is simple: to take each child, nurture and protect them, and allow them to grow into the person God created them to be. In doing so, we strive to instil within them a love of themselves, a love of God, and a love of others, preparing them to step forward with faith, courage, and purpose.

As we celebrate 50 years of Trinity Catholic High School, we remain steadfast in our Mission to inspire excellence, uphold Gospel values, and prepare our students to lead, serve, and transform the world for the better.
