The 12 newly elect

No longer catechumens, 8 were baptised and four more received into full communion of our family at Saturday’s vigil. It has been an exceptional year for the Journey of Faith. This was evident in the liturgy and the party that followed in Becket. We hope and expect the warm feeling of belonging to continue with those still on the way to complete belonging with us. Already the “newcomers” are looking to the various societies and groups of the parish to find what suits their respective talents and situation.

It is not always easy to join a well-knit group. So welcome them and help them to be truly comfortable with us. We are crying out for hands and hearts to take on the family building tasks that we older ones have done for long enough.
